ভূতের রাজার বরে ‘যেথা খুশি যাইতে পারি’ এখন আর দূরে নয়, ঘরের কাছেই। এই মেলামেশার মরসুমে ফুল, পাখি, গাছের ডাক কান পাতলেই, চোখ খুললেই। কারন বলতে বারণ নেই বলে মন ময়ূরী পেখম মেলে আর দিল তো দিওয়ানা, খুশি তে গার্ডেন গার্ডেন – অতঃপর ঠিকানা ব্যান্ডেলের অদূরে বারোলে “পেখম পিকনিক গার্ডেন” । রোদ ছায়ার লুকোচুরি গাছ পাতার ফাঁকে, সর্ষে ক্ষেতের হলুদ আঁচল মাঠের বুক জুড়ে আর ভির থেকে দূরে নিজেকে খুঁজে পাওয়া। “পেখম” মানেই একটু বস চলে যেওনা,অনুরাগের ছোঁওয়া। যেমন যা চাই তেমনটাই পাই – কটেজ থেকে কিচেন, তাই সময়ে অসময়ে দল বেঁধে এসে, রেঁধে বেরে নিলে, ‘এসো বসো আহারে’ , জমজমাটি আড্ডা আর তারই ফাঁকে ফাঁকে হাঁটি হাঁটি পা পা, ময়ূর হাঁটে দেখে যা। সত্যি বলেই গল্প নয়, এখানে আসলে সময় কেটে যায় অনায়াসে। Sun set point এ দাঁড়িয়ে পশ্চিমের রঙ ধোয়া আকাশে সূর্য ডুবতে দেখলে ঘোর ভাঙে… লাল নীল সবুজের মেলা। এবার ঘরে ফেরার পালা।
